Could hackers get into your website through YOU?

If you administer a CMS or other website, and if you don’t pay attention to your personal security practices, you could inadvertently open the door to allow a hacker into your site.

Whether you use a CMS such as Drupal or WordPress, or your site is on Squarespace, Weebly, or Wix, if you are personally hacked, somebody could also get into your website.

Caleb Lane of Sucuri recently wrote a 3-part series on personal security. Though some of his suggestions may be more stringent than you are willing to allow, you should read this whole series to be sure you aren’t inadvertently putting yourself, your website, and your web visitors in danger.
